אֵלֶּה מַסְעֵי בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר יָצְאוּ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם לְצִבְאֹתָם בְּיַד־מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן 33:1
Numb. 33:1 These were the journeys of the children of Israel over which they proceeded from the land of Egypt according to their hosts by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
וַיִּכְתֹּב מֹשֶׁה אֶת־מֹוצָאֵיהֶם לְמַסְעֵיהֶם עַל־פִּי יְהוָה וְאֵלֶּה מַסְעֵיהֶם לְמֹוצָאֵיהֶם 33:2
Numb. 33:2 Now Moses described in writing their goings forth according to their journeys based on the word of the Lord, and these are their journeys according to their places of departure.
וַיִּסְעוּ מֵרַעְמְסֵס בַּחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשֹׁון בַּחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר יֹום לַחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשֹׁון מִמָּחֳרַת הַפֶּסַח יָצְאוּ בְנֵי־ 33:3
יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּיָד רָמָה לְעֵינֵי כָּל־מִצְרָיִם
Numb. 33:3 So they departed from Rameses in the first month on the first month’s fifteenth day. From the day after the Passover the children of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.
Please note that here we have additional support for the Jewish day not starting in the evening (see Gene. 1:5, Exod. 12:6, Exod. 12:18, Levi. 6:13, Levi. 23:32, and Numb. 9:15): The fifteenth day is referred to by Moses as the day after the Passover, which had occurred the previous evening. If the fifteenth day is the next day after the Passover, it is a different day from the previous evening. Thus the evening must be the end of the daylight hours, not the start of a new day, the actual end of the day being just before the start of the new day, which is, as I’ve remarked earlier, probably the moment of first light to remind us of Creation.
וּמִצְרַיִם מְקַבְּרִים אֵת אֲשֶׁר הִכָּה יְהוָה בָּהֶם כָּל־בְּכֹור וּבֵאלֹהֵיהֶם עָשָׂה יְהוָה שְׁפָטִים 33:4
Numb. 33:4 And the Egyptians, who were burying those whom the Lord had struck down; upon them – every first born – and upon their gods the Lord had executed judgments.
וַיִּסְעוּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵרַעְמְסֵס וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּסֻכֹּת 33:5
Numb. 33:5 And the children of Israel had journeyed from Rameses and camped in Succoth.
וַיִּסְעוּ מִסֻּכֹּת וַיַּחֲנוּ בְאֵתָם אֲשֶׁר בִּקְצֵה הַמִּדְבָּר 33:6
Numb. 33:6 Then they had journeyed from Succoth and camped in Etham, which is on the edge of the wilderness.
וַיִּסְעוּ מֵאֵתָם וַיָּשָׁב עַל־פִּי הַחִירֹת אֲשֶׁר עַל־פְּנֵי בַּעַל צְפֹון וַיַּחֲנוּ לִפְנֵי מִגְדֹּל 33:7
Numb. 33:7 Then they had journeyed from Etham, but he had turned back beyond the mouth of Hachiroth, which is against the face of Baal-zephon, and they camped before Migdol.
Other translations of the words פִּי הַחִירֹתi interpret them as a single name, Pi-hahiroth. Because this “name” appears in the next verse in a different form, I suspect that the name is only Hachiroth, or Chiroth (the Heh prefix indicating the word, the, and the first two letters are the mouth of. The phrase can then be translated as the mouth of the Chiroth. Notice that an unnamed sea is mentioned in the next verse; I suspect that’s the Reed Sea.
On another point, in the translation he had turned back appearing in v. 33:7, which is typically mistranslated as they turned back, the pronoun he probably refers to either Moses -- or the the pillar of smoke, by changing the translation of the pronoun from he to it).
וַיִּסְעוּ מִפְּנֵי הַחִירֹת וַיַּעַבְרוּ בְתֹוךְ־הַיָּם הַמִּדְבָּרָה וַיֵּלְכוּ דֶּרֶךְ שְׁלֹשֶׁת יָמִים בְּמִדְבַּר אֵתָם וַיַּחֲנוּ 33:8

מִצְרַיִם בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַחֲמִישִׁי בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ
Numb. 33:38 And Aaron, the priest, had gone up to the mountain of Hor according to the command of the Lord, and he had died there in the fortieth year of the exodus of the children of Israel from the land of Egypt in the fifth month on the month’s first day.
It’s very interesting and intriguing to me that Aaron’s day of passing is recorded here in Numbers, but the date of Moses’ passing, apparently only a few months later, is omitted in Deuteronomy. It’s further rather strange that Aaron’s yahrtzeit (anniversary of death) is not observed in any way, to my knowledge. I have in fact never even heard it mentioned.
וְאַהֲרֹן בֶּן־שָׁלֹשׁ וְעֶשְׂרִים וּמְאַת שָׁנָה בְּמֹתֹו בְּהֹר הָהָר 33:39

Numb. 33:53 ‘And you shall possess the land and dwell in it, for I have given the land to you to possess it.’
וְהִתְנַחַלְתֶּם אֶת־הָאָרֶץ בְּגֹורָל לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתֵיכֶם לָרַב תַּרְבּוּ אֶת־נַחֲלָתֹו וְלַמְעַט תַּמְעִיט אֶת־נַחֲלָתֹו 33:54
