הַלְלוּ יָהּ הַלְלוּ אֶת־יְהוָה מִן־הַשָּׁמַיִם הַלְלוּהוּ בַּמְּרוֹמִים׃   148:1

Psal. 148:1   Hallelujah!

                               Praise the Lord from the heavens!

                        Praise Him throughout the heights!

הַלְלוּהוּ כָל־מַלְאָכָיו הַלְלוּהוּ כָּל־ (צְבָאֹו) [צְבָאָיו]׃   148:2

Psal. 148:2   Praise Him, all His angels!

                               Praise Him, all His hosts!

The word in the parentheses is missing a yad.  As spelled, it is singular and has to be translated as His host.  The correction in the brackets makes the word plural, His hosts.

הַלְלוּהוּ שֶׁמֶשׁ וְיָרֵחַ הַלְלוּהוּ כָּל־כּוֹכְבֵי אוֹר׃   148:3

Psal. 148:3   Praise Him, sun and moon!

                                Praise Him, all stars of light!

הַלְלוּהוּ שְׁמֵי הַשָּׁמָיִם וְהַמַּיִם אֲשֶׁר מֵעַל הַשָּׁמָיִם׃   148:4

Psal. 148:4   Praise Him, the heaven of heavens,

                               and the waters that are over the heavens!

יְהַלְלוּ אֶת־שֵׁם יְהוָה כִּי הוּא צִוָּה וְנִבְרָאוּ׃   148:5

Psal. 148:5   They must praise the name of the Lord,

                               for He commanded, and they were created.

וַיַּעֲמִידֵם לָעַד לְעוֹלָם חָק־נָתַן וְלֹא יַעֲבוֹר׃   148:6

Psal. 148:6   And He established them to exist forever;

                               He made a decree that will not be invalidated.

הַלְלוּ אֶת־יְהוָה מִן־הָאָרֶץ תַּנִּינִים וְכָל־תְּהֹמוֹת׃   148:7

Psal. 148:7   Praise the Lord from the earth,

                               giant sea creatures, and all the depths.

אֵשׁ וּבָרָד שֶׁלֶג וְקִיטוֹר רוּחַ סְעָרָה עֹשָׂה דְבָרוֹ׃   148:8

Psal. 148:8   Fire and hail, snow and vapor, stormy wind,

                               are the fulfillment of His word.

הֶהָרִים וְכָל־גְּבָעוֹת עֵץ פְּרִי וְכָל־אֲרָזִים׃   148:9

Psal. 148:9   The mountains and all hills,

                               fruit-bearing tree and all cedars,

הַחַיָּה וְכָל־בְּהֵמָה רֶמֶשׂ וְצִפּוֹר כָּנָף׃   148:10

Psal. 148:10   every animal and all cattle,

                               creeping thing and winged fowl,

מַלְכֵי־אֶרֶץ וְכָל־לְאֻמִּים שָׂרִים וְכָל־שֹׁפְטֵי אָרֶץ׃   148:11

Psal. 148:11   kings of the earth and all peoples,

                               princes and all the judges of the earth,

בַּחוּרִים וְגַם־בְּתוּלוֹת זְקֵנִים עִם־נְעָרִים׃   148:12

Psal. 148:12   young men and even maidens,

                               old men, besides young boys!

יְהַלְלוּ אֶת־שֵׁם יְהוָה כִּי־נִשְׂגָּב שְׁמוֹ לְבַדּוֹ הוֹדוֹ עַל־אֶרֶץ וְשָׁמָיִם׃   148:13

Psal. 148:13   Let them praise the name of the Lord,

                               for His name is exalted by itself.

                          His glory is above earth and heaven.

וַיָּרֶם קֶרֶן לְעַמּוֹ תְּהִלָּה לְכָל־חֲסִידָיו לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל עַם־קְרֹבוֹ הַלְלוּ־יָהּ׃   148:14

Psal. 148:14   Yet He lifts up a horn for His people,

                               a  praise for all His faithful ones,

                          for the children of Israel, a people near to Him.

                               Hallelujah!
