וּמִן־הַתְּכֵלֶת וְהָאַרְגָּמָן וְתֹולַעַת הַשָּׁנִי עָשׂוּ בִגְדֵי־שְׂרָד לְשָׁרֵת בַּקֹּדֶשׁ וַיַּעֲשׂוּ אֶת־בִּגְדֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ 39:1
אֲשֶׁר לְאַהֲרֹן כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה
Exod. 39:1 And from the blue and the purple and the scarlet cloth they made plaited garments for ministering in the sanctuary, and they made the garments of holiness that were for Aaron as the Lord had commanded Moses.
וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת־הָאֵפֹד זָהָב תְּכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתֹולַעַת שָׁנִי וְשֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר 39:2
Exod. 39:2 And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet cloth, and fine twined linen.
וַיְרַקְּעוּ אֶת־פַּחֵי הַזָּהָב וְקִץֵּץ פְּתִילִם לַעֲשֹׂות בְּתֹוךְ הַתְּכֵלֶת וּבְתֹוךְ הָאַרְגָּמָן וּבְתֹוךְ תֹּולַעַת הַשָּׁנִי 39:3
וּבְתֹוךְ הַשֵּׁשׁ מַעֲשֵׂה חֹשֵׁב
Exod. 39:3 And they beat the thin plates of gold, and cut cords to work in between the blue and in between the purple and in between the scarlet cloth and in between the fine linen, the work of a skilled workman.
כְּתֵפֹת עָשׂוּ־לֹו חֹבְרֹת עַל־שְׁנֵי (קִצְוֹותֹו) [קְצֹותָיו] חֻבָּר 39:4
Exod. 39:4 They made shoulder pieces for it, joined together. On its two ends it was joined.
Another apparent error is shown in parentheses. What is considered the more correct spelling is in the brackets. Please note that this alleged error is identical to the one found in Exod. 37:8, leading me to believe that it may not be an error, but an ancient spelling peculiar to this word of which we have lost track.
וְחֵשֶׁב אֲפֻדָּתֹו אֲשֶׁר עָלָיו מִמֶּנּוּ הוּא כְּמַעֲשֵׂהוּ זָהָב תְּכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתֹולַעַת שָׁנִי וְשֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר 39:5
כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה
Exod. 39:5 And the band of its ephod that was on it was out of it. It was of its same workmanship, of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet cloth, and fine linen, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
וַיַּעֲשׂוּ אֶת־אַבְנֵי הַשֹּׁהַם מֻסַבֹּת מִשְׁבְּצֹת זָהָב מְפֻתָּחֹת פִּתּוּחֵי חֹותָם עַל־שְׁמֹות בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל 39:6
Exod. 39:6 And they prepared the stones of onyx enclosed in settings of gold, carved with the engravings of a signet according to the names of the children of Israel.
וַיָּשֶׂם אֹתָם עַל כִּתְפֹת הָאֵפֹד אַבְנֵי זִכָּרֹון לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה 39:7
Exod. 39:7 And he put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod, stones of remembrance for the sons of Israel as the Lord had commanded Moses.
וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת־הַחֹשֶׁן מַעֲשֵׂה חֹשֵׁב כְּמַעֲשֵׂה אֵפֹד זָהָב תְּכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתֹולַעַת שָׁנִי וְשֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר 39:8
Exod. 39:8 And he made the breastplate, a work of a skilled workman like the work of the ephod, of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet cloth, of fine twined linen.
רָבוּעַ הָיָה כָּפוּל עָשׂוּ אֶת־הַחֹשֶׁן זֶרֶת אָרְכֹּו וְזֶרֶת רָחְבֹּו כָּפוּל 39:9
Exod. 39:9 It was square doubled over. They made the breastplate a span its length and a span its width, doubled.
וַיְמַלְאוּ־בֹו אַרְבָּעָה טוּרֵי אָבֶן טוּר אֹדֶם פִּטְדָה וּבָרֶקֶת הַטּוּר הָאֶחָד 39:10
Exod. 39:10 And they set four rows of stone in it. A row of a carnelian, a topaz, and an emerald was the first row,
וְהַטּוּר הַשֵּׁנִי נֹפֶךְ סַפִּיר וְיָהֲלֹם 39:11
Exod. 39:11 and the second row, a garnet, a sapphire, and a diamond,
וְהַטּוּר הַשְּׁלִישִׁי לֶשֶׁם שְׁבֹו וְאַחְלָמָה 39:12
Exod. 39:12 and the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst,
וְהַטּוּר הָרְבִיעִי תַּרְשִׁישׁ שֹׁהַם וְיָשְׁפֵה מוּסַבֹּת מִשְׁבְּצֹות זָהָב בְּמִלֻּאֹתָם 39:13
Exod. 39:13 and the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. They were enclosed in filigrees of gold in their settings.
וְהָאֲבָנִים עַל־שְׁמֹת בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל הֵנָּה שְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֵה עַל־שְׁמֹתָם פִּתּוּחֵי חֹתָם אִישׁ עַל־שְׁמֹו לִשְׁנֵים 39:14
עָשָׂר שָׁבֶט
Exod. 39:14 And the stones were as the names of the sons of Israel. They were twelve for their names, engravings of a signet, each one according to his name for the twelve tribes.
וַיַּעֲשׂוּ עַל־הַחֹשֶׁן שַׁרְשְׁרֹת גַּבְלֻת מַעֲשֵׂה עֲבֹת זָהָב טָהֹור 39:15
Exod. 39:15 And they made on the breastplate a twisted chain, a work of entwined pure gold.
וַיַּעֲשׂוּ שְׁתֵּי מִשְׁבְּצֹת זָהָב וּשְׁתֵּי טַבְּעֹת זָהָב וַיִּתְּנוּ אֶת־שְׁתֵּי הַטַּבָּעֹת עַל־שְׁנֵי קְצֹות הַחֹשֶׁן 39:16
Exod. 39:16 And they made two settings of gold and two rings of gold and they put the two rings on two corners of the breastplate.
וַיִּתְּנוּ שְׁתֵּי הָעֲבֹתֹת הַזָּהָב עַל־שְׁתֵּי הַטַּבָּעֹת עַל־קְצֹות הַחֹשֶׁן 39:17
Exod. 39:17 And they put the two chains of gold on the two rings at the corners of the breastplate.
וְאֵת שְׁתֵּי קְצֹות שְׁתֵּי הָעֲבֹתֹת נָתְנוּ עַל־שְׁתֵּי הַמִּשְׁבְּצֹת וַיִּתְּנֻם עַל־כִּתְפֹת הָאֵפֹד אֶל־מוּל פָּנָיו 39:18
Exod. 39:18 And the other ends of the two chains they put on the two settings and put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod at front of its face.
וַיַּעֲשׂוּ שְׁתֵּי טַבְּעֹת זָהָב וַיָּשִׂימוּ עַל־שְׁנֵי קְצֹות הַחֹשֶׁן עַל־שְׂפָתֹו אֲשֶׁר אֶל־עֵבֶר הָאֵפֹד בָּיְתָה 39:19
Exod. 39:19 And they made two rings of gold and put them on the two edges of the breastplate on the edge of it that was to the inner side of the ephod.
וַיַּעֲשׂוּ שְׁתֵּי טַבְּעֹת זָהָב וַיִּתְּנֻם עַל־שְׁתֵּי כִתְפֹת הָאֵפֹד מִלְמַטָּה מִמּוּל פָּנָיו לְעֻמַּת מֶחְבַּרְתֹּו מִמַּעַל 29:20
לְחֵשֶׁב הָאֵפֹד
Exod. 39:20 And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two shoulder pieces of the ephod from the bottom of its front face adjacent to its coupling above the woven band of the ephod.
וַיִּרְכְּסוּ אֶת־הַחֹשֶׁן מִטַּבְּעֹתָיו אֶל־טַבְּעֹת הָאֵפֹד בִּפְתִיל תְּכֵלֶת לִהְיֹת עַל־חֵשֶׁב הָאֵפֹד וְלֹא־יִזַּח 39:21
הַחֹשֶׁן מֵעַל הָאֵפֹד כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה
Exod. 39:21 And they bound the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a blue cord, to remain on the woven band of the ephod, so the breastplate could not get loose from the ephod, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת־מְעִיל הָאֵפֹד מַעֲשֵׂה אֹרֵג כְּלִיל תְּכֵלֶת 39:22
Exod. 39:22 And he made the mantle of the ephod, a work of a weaver, entirely of blue.
וּפִי־הַמְּעִיל בְּתֹוכֹו כְּפִי תַחְרָא שָׂפָה לְפִיו סָבִיב לֹא יִקָּרֵעַ 39:23
Exod. 39:23 And the head opening of the mantle was in the middle of it like the opening of
וַיַּעֲשׂוּ עַל־שׁוּלֵי הַמְּעִיל רִמֹּונֵי תְּכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתֹולַעַת שָׁנִי מָשְׁזָר 39:24
Exod. 39:24 And they made pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet cloth, of twined linen, on the hem of the mantle.
וַיַּעֲשׂוּ פַעֲמֹנֵי זָהָב טָהֹור וַיִּתְּנוּ אֶת־הַפַּעֲמֹנִים בְּתֹוךְ הָרִמֹּנִים עַל־שׁוּלֵי הַמְּעִיל סָבִיב בְּתֹוךְ 39:25
הָרִמֹּנִים
Exod. 39:25 And they made bells of pure gold and they put the bells between the pomegranates on the hem of the mantle all around between the pomegranates, a coat of mail with a binding for its opening all around so it could not be torn.
פַּעֲמֹן וְרִמֹּן פַּעֲמֹן וְרִמֹּן עַל־שׁוּלֵי הַמְּעִיל סָבִיב לְשָׁרֵת כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה 39:26
Exod. 39:26 a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, on the hem of the mantle all around for ministering, as the Lord had commanded Moses. [Return to Levi. 16:4]
וַיַּעֲשׂוּ אֶת־הַכָּתְנֹת שֵׁשׁ מַעֲשֵׂה אֹרֵג לְאַהֲרֹן וּלְבָנָיו 39:27
Exod. 39:27 And they made the tunics of fine linen, a work of a weaver, for Aaron and for his sons,
וְאֵת הַמִּצְנֶפֶת שֵׁשׁ וְאֶת־פַּאֲרֵי הַמִּגְבָּעֹת שֵׁשׁ וְאֶת־מִכְנְסֵי הַבָּד שֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר 39:28
Exod. 39:28 and the mitre of fine linen and the tires of the bonnets of fine linen and the breeches of linen, fine twined linen,
וְאֶת־הָאַבְנֵט שֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר וּתְכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתֹולַעַת שָׁנִי מַעֲשֵׂה רֹקֵם כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה 39:29
Exod. 39:29 and the sash of fine twined linen and blue and purple and scarlet cloth, a work of an embroiderer, as the Lord had commanded Moses. [Return to Ezek. 44:17]
וַיַּעֲשׂוּ אֶת־צִיץ נֵזֶר־הַקֹּדֶשׁ זָהָב טָהֹור וַיִּכְתְּבוּ עָלָיו מִכְתַּב פִּתּוּחֵי חֹותָם קֹדֶשׁ לַיהוָה 39:30
Exod. 39:30 And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold and engraved on it lettering, the engraving of a signet: “Holy to the Lord.” [Return to Levi. 16:4]
וַיִּתְּנוּ עָלָיו פְּתִיל תְּכֵלֶת לָתֵת עַל־הַמִּצְנֶפֶת מִלְמָעְלָה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה 39:31
Exod. 39:31 And they put on it a cord of blue to fasten it on the miter from above it, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
וַתֵּכֶל כָּל־עֲבֹדַת מִשְׁכַּן אֹהֶל מֹועֵד וַיַּעֲשׂוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה כֵּן עָשׂוּ 39:32
Exod. 39:32 And all the work of the tabernacle, of the tent of meeting, was finished. And the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses, so they did.

Another incorrect spelling in this verse: The third from last word, in the parentheses, is replaced by the word in brackets.

Exod. 39:42 According to all that the Lord had commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did all the labor.
וַיַּרְא מֹשֶׁה אֶת־כָּל־הַמְּלָאכָה וְהִנֵּה עָשׂוּ אֹתָהּ כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה כֵּן עָשׂוּ וַיְבָרֶךְ אֹתָם מֹשֶׁה 39:43
Exod. 39:43 And Moses regarded all the workmanship and behold, they had done it. As the Lord had commanded, so they had done. And Moses blessed them.
