וְעָשָׂה בְצַלְאֵל וְאָהֳלִיאָב וְכֹל אִישׁ חֲכַם־לֵב אֲשֶׁר נָתַן יְהוָה חָכְמָה וּתְבוּנָה בָּהֵמָּה לָדַעַת לַעֲשֹׂת 36:1
אֶת־כָּל־מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדַת הַקֹּדֶשׁ לְכֹל אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּה יְהוָה
Exod. 36:1 “And Bezaleel and Aholiab shall work, as well as every one of wise heart in whom the Lord has put wisdom and understanding to know to make all the works of the services of the sanctuary according to all that the Lord had commanded.”
וַיִּקְרָא מֹשֶׁה אֶל־בְּצַלְאֵל וְאֶל־אָהֳלִיאָב וְאֶל כָּל־אִישׁ חֲכַם־לֵב אֲשֶׁר נָתַן יְהוָה חָכְמָה בְּלִבֹּו כֹּל 36:2
אֲשֶׁר נְשָׂאֹו לִבֹּו לְקָרְבָה אֶל־הַמְּלָאכָה לַעֲשֹׂת אֹתָהּ
Exod. 36:2 And Moses called to Bezaleel and to Aholiab and to everyone of wise heart into whose the Lord had put wisdom, all whom their hearts stirred up to come near to the work to do it.
וַיִּקְחוּ מִלִּפְנֵי מֹשֶׁה אֵת כָּל־הַתְּרוּמָה אֲשֶׁר הֵבִיאוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לִמְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדַת הַקֹּדֶשׁ לַעֲשֹׂת 36:3
אֹתָהּ וְהֵם הֵבִיאוּ אֵלָיו עוֹד נְדָבָה בַּבֹּקֶר בַּבֹּקֶר
Exod. 36:3 And they took from before Moses all the offering that the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary to do it. And they still they brought a free-will offering to him morning after morning.
וַיָּבֹאוּ כָּל־הַחֲכָמִים הָעֹשִׂים אֵת כָּל־מְלֶאכֶת הַקֹּדֶשׁ אִישׁ־אִישׁ מִמְּלַאכְתֹּו אֲשֶׁר־הֵמָּה עֹשִׂים 36:4
Exod. 36:4 Then all the wise men who were accomplishing all the work of the sanctuary came, man by man, from his work that they were making.
וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר מַרְבִּים הָעָם לְהָבִיא מִדֵּי הָעֲבֹדָה לַמְּלָאכָה אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּה יְהוָה לַעֲשֹׂת אֹתָהּ 36:5
Exod. 36:5 And they spoke to Moses saying, “Too many of the people is bringing too much service for the work which the Lord commanded to make.”
וַיְצַו מֹשֶׁה וַיַּעֲבִירוּ קֹול בַּמַּחֲנֶה לֵאמֹר אִישׁ וְאִשָּׁה אַל־יַעֲשׂוּ־עֹוד מְלָאכָה לִתְרוּמַת הַקֹּדֶשׁ וַיִּכָּלֵא 36:6
הָעָם מֵהָבִיא
Exod. 36:6 And Moses commanded that they pass the report throughout the camp saying, “Man or woman, they shall not offer any more contribution of the sanctuary.” So the people stopped bringing.
וְהַמְּלָאכָה הָיְתָה דַיָּם לְכָל־הַמְּלָאכָה לַעֲשֹׂות אֹתָהּ וְהֹותֵר 36:7
Exod. 36:7 And the things were enough for them for all the work of making it, and more.
וַיַּעֲשׂוּ כָל־חֲכַם־לֵב בְּעֹשֵׂי הַמְּלָאכָה אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּן עֶשֶׂר יְרִיעֹת שֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר וּתְכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתֹולַעַת 36:8
שָׁנִי כְּרֻבִים מַעֲשֵׂה חֹשֵׁב עָשָׂה אֹתָם
Exod. 36:8 And all the wise-hearted at work on the things made the tabernacle: Ten curtains of fine twined linen and blue and purple and scarlet cloth; cherubim of the artistry of a skilled workman, he made them.
אֹרֶךְ הַיְרִיעָה הָאַחַת שְׁמֹנֶה וְעֶשְׂרִים בָּאַמָּה וְרֹחַב אַרְבַּע בָּאַמָּה הַיְרִיעָה הָאֶחָת מִדָּה אַחַת לְכָל־ 36:9
הַיְרִיעֹת
Exod. 36:9 The length of each curtain was twenty and eight in cubits and the width of each curtain, four in cubits, one size for all the curtains.
וַיְחַבֵּר אֶת־חֲמֵשׁ הַיְרִיעֹת אַחַת אֶל־אֶחָת וְחָמֵשׁ יְרִיעֹת חִבַּר אַחַת אֶל־אֶחָת 36:10
Exod. 36:10 And he joined five curtains each to the next; then he joined five curtains each to the next.
וַיַּעַשׂ לֻלְאֹת תְּכֵלֶת עַל שְׂפַת הַיְרִיעָה הָאֶחָת מִקָּצָה בַּמַּחְבָּרֶת כֵּן עָשָׂה בִּשְׂפַת הַיְרִיעָה הַקִּיצֹונָה 36:11
בַּמַּחְבֶּרֶת הַשֵּׁנִית
Exod. 36:11 And he made loops of blue on the edge of the one outermost curtain in a joined set. He did the same on the edge of the outermost curtain in the other joined set.
חֲמִשִּׁים לֻלָאֹת עָשָׂה בַּיְרִיעָה הָאֶחָת וַחֲמִשִּׁים לֻלָאֹת עָשָׂה בִּקְצֵה הַיְרִיעָה אֲשֶׁר בַּמַּחְבֶּרֶת 36:12
הַשֵּׁנִית מַקְבִּילֹת הַלֻּלָאֹת אַחַת אֶל־אֶחָת
Exod. 36:12 He made fifty loops in the first curtain and he made fifty loops in the edge of the curtain that was in the other joined set. The loops were opposite each other.
וַיַּעַשׂ חֲמִשִּׁים קַרְסֵי זָהָב וַיְחַבֵּר אֶת־הַיְרִעֹת אַחַת אֶל־אַחַת בַּקְּרָסִים וַיְהִי הַמִּשְׁכָּן אֶחָד 36:13
Exod. 36:13 And he made fifty clasps of gold and joined the curtains one to the other with the clasps so the tabernacle was one.
וַיַּעַשׂ יְרִיעֹת עִזִּים לְאֹהֶל עַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּן עַשְׁתֵּי־עֶשְׂרֵה יְרִיעֹת עָשָׂה אֹתָם 36:14
Exod. 36:14 And he made curtains of goats' hair for the tent over the tabernacle. Eleven curtains he made them.
אֹרֶךְ הַיְרִיעָה הָאַחַת שְׁלֹשִׁים בָּאַמָּה וְאַרְבַּע אַמֹּות רֹחַב הַיְרִיעָה הָאֶחָת מִדָּה אַחַת לְעַשְׁתֵּי 36:15
עֶשְׂרֵה יְרִיעֹת
Exod. 36:15 The length of one curtain was thirty in cubits, and the width of each curtain, four cubits. The same measure was for the eleven curtains.
וַיְחַבֵּר אֶת־חֲמֵשׁ הַיְרִיעֹת לְבָד וְאֶת־שֵׁשׁ הַיְרִיעֹת לְבָד 36:16
Exod. 36:16 And he joined five of the curtains to themselves and six curtains to themselves.
וַיַּעַשׂ לֻלָאֹת חֲמִשִּׁים עַל שְׂפַת הַיְרִיעָה הַקִּיצֹנָה בַּמַּחְבָּרֶת וַחֲמִשִּׁים לֻלָאֹת עָשָׂה עַל־שְׂפַת 36:17
הַיְרִיעָה הַחֹבֶרֶת הַשֵּׁנִית
Exod. 36:17 And he made fifty loops on an edge of the outermost curtain in the joined set, and he made fifty loops on the edge of the curtain of the other joined set.
וַיַּעַשׂ קַרְסֵי נְחֹשֶׁת חֲמִשִּׁים לְחַבֵּר אֶת־הָאֹהֶל לִהְיֹת אֶחָד 36:18
Exod. 36:18 And he made fifty clasps of bronze to join the tent to be one.
וַיַּעַשׂ מִכְסֶה לָאֹהֶל עֹרֹת אֵלִים מְאָדָּמִים וּמִכְסֵה עֹרֹת תְּחָשִׁים מִלְמָעְלָה 36:19
Exod. 36:19 And he made a covering for the tent of skins of rams dyed red and a covering of skins of badgers over the top of it.
וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת־הַקְּרָשִׁים לַמִּשְׁכָּן עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים עֹמְדִים 36:20
Exod. 36:20 And he made the boards for the tabernacle of wood of acacia standing upright.
עֶשֶׂר אַמֹּת אֹרֶךְ הַקָּרֶשׁ וְאַמָּה וַחֲצִי הָאַמָּה רֹחַב הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד 36:21
Exod. 36:21 Ten cubits long was a board, and a cubit and a half of a cubit wide each board.
שְׁתֵּי יָדֹת לַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד מְשֻׁלָּבֹת אַחַת אֶל־אֶחָת כֵּן עָשָׂה לְכֹל קַרְשֵׁי הַמִּשְׁכָּן 36:22
Exod. 36:22 There were two tenons for each board matching each to the other. Thus he did for all the boards of the tabernacle.
וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת־הַקְּרָשִׁים לַמִּשְׁכָּן עֶשְׂרִים קְרָשִׁים לִפְאַת נֶגֶב תֵּימָנָה 36:23
Exod. 36:23 And he made the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards for the south side southward.
וְאַרְבָּעִים אַדְנֵי־כֶסֶף עָשָׂה תַּחַת עֶשְׂרִים הַקְּרָשִׁים שְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים תַּחַת־הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד לִשְׁתֵּי יְדֹתָיו 36:24
וּשְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים תַּחַת־הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד לִשְׁתֵּי יְדֹתָיו
Exod. 36:24 And he made forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards, two sockets under the first board for its two tenons, and two sockets under the next board for its two tenons.
וּלְצֶלַע הַמִּשְׁכָּן הַשֵּׁנִית לִפְאַת צָפֹון עָשָׂה עֶשְׂרִים קְרָשִׁים 36:25
Exod. 36:25 And he made twenty boards for the other side of the tabernacle, for the north side,
וְאַרְבָּעִים אַדְנֵיהֶם כָּסֶף שְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים תַּחַת הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד וּשְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים תַּחַת הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד 36:26
Exod. 36:26 and their forty sockets of silver, two sockets under the first board and two sockets under the next board.
וּלְיַרְכְּתֵי הַמִּשְׁכָּן יָמָּה עָשָׂה שִׁשָּׁה קְרָשִׁים 36:27
Exod. 36:27 And he made six boards for the westward rear of the tabernacle.
וּשְׁנֵי קְרָשִׁים עָשָׂה לִמְקֻצְעֹת הַמִּשְׁכָּן בַּיַּרְכָתָיִם 36:28
Exod. 36:28 And he made two boards for the corners of the tabernacle in the rear.
וְהָיוּ תֹואֲםִם מִלְּמַטָּה וְיַחְדָּו יִהְיוּ תַמִּים אֶל־רֹאשֹׁו אֶל־הַטַּבַּעַת הָאֶחָת כֵּן עָשָׂה לִשְׁנֵיהֶם לִשְׁנֵי 36:29
הַמִּקְצֹעֹת
Exod. 36:29 And they were attached from underneath and they were attached, each alike, at its top to the one ring. So he did for both of them for the two corners.
וְהָיוּ שְׁמֹנָה קְרָשִׁים וְאַדְנֵיהֶם כֶּסֶף שִׁשָּׁה עָשָׂר אֲדָנִים שְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים שְׁנֵי אֲדָנִים תַּחַת הַקֶּרֶשׁ הָאֶחָד 36:30
36:30 So there were eight boards and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets, two sockets under every board.
וַיַּעַשׂ בְּרִיחֵי עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים חֲמִשָּׁה לְקַרְשֵׁי צֶלַע־הַמִּשְׁכָּן הָאֶחָת 36:31
Exod. 36:31 And he made bars of wood of acacia, five for the boards of one side of the tabernacle,
וַחֲמִשָּׁה בְרִיחִם לְקַרְשֵׁי צֶלַע־הַמִּשְׁכָּן הַשֵּׁנִית וַחֲמִשָּׁה בְרִיחִם לְקַרְשֵׁי הַמִּשְׁכָּן לַיַּרְכָתַיִם יָמָּה 36:32
Exod. 36:32 and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle to the rear westward.
וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת־הַבְּרִיחַ הַתִּיכֹן לִבְרֹחַ בְּתֹוךְ הַקְּרָשִׁים מִן־הַקָּצֶה אֶל־הַקָּצֶה 36:33
Exod. 36:33 And he made the middle bar to go through the center of the boards from end to end.
וְאֶת־הַקְּרָשִׁים צִפָּה זָהָב וְאֶת־טַבְּעֹתָם עָשָׂה זָהָב בָּתִּים לַבְּרִיחִם וַיְצַף אֶת־הַבְּרִיחִם זָהָב 36:34
Exod. 36:34 And he laid gold over the boards, and he made their rings of gold as places for the bars and he laid gold over the bars.
וַיַּעַשׂ אֶת־הַפָּרֹכֶת תְּכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתֹולַעַת שָׁנִי וְשֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר מַעֲשֵׂה חֹשֵׁב עָשָׂה אֹתָהּ כְּרֻבִים 36:35
Exod. 36:35 And he made the veil of blue and purple and scarlet cloth and fine twined linen. He made it the work of a skilled craftsman, of cherubim.
וַיַּעַשׂ לָהּ אַרְבָּעָה עַמּוּדֵי שִׁטִּים וַיְצַפֵּם זָהָב וָוֵיהֶם זָהָב וַיִּצֹק לָהֶם אַרְבָּעָה אַדְנֵי־כָסֶף 36:36
Exod. 36:36 And he made four columns of acacia for it and laid gold over them, and their hooks of gold, and he cast four sockets of silver for them.
וַיַּעַשׂ מָסָךְ לְפֶתַח הָאֹהֶל תְּכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתֹולַעַת שָׁנִי וְשֵׁשׁ מָשְׁזָר מַעֲשֵׂה רֹקֵם 36:37
Exod. 36:37 And he made a covering for the entrance of the tent of blue and purple and scarlet cloth and fine twined linen, a work of an embroiderer,
וְאֶת־עַמּוּדָיו חֲמִשָּׁה וְאֶת־וָוֵיהֶם וְצִפָּה רָאשֵׁיהֶם וַחֲשֻׁקֵיהֶם זָהָב וְאַדְנֵיהֶם חֲמִשָּׁה נְחֹשֶׁת 36:38
Exod. 36:38 and its five columns and their hooks, and he laid gold over their capitals and their fillets. And their five sockets were brass.
