מִזְמֹור שִׁירוּ לַיהוָה שִׁיר חָדָשׁ כִּי־נִפְלָאֹות עָשָׂה הֹושִׁיעָה־לֹּו יְמִינֹו וּזְרֹועַ קָדְשֹׁו׃   98:1

Psal. 98:1   A psalm: Sing to the Lord a new song,

                             for He produces wonders.

                      His right “hand” saves for Him, and His holy “arm.”

הֹודִיעַ יְהוָה יְשׁוּעָתֹו לְעֵינֵי הַגֹּויִם גִּלָּה צִדְקָתֹו׃   98:2

Psal. 98:2   The Lord makes known His salvation,

                              for the eyes of the nations He reveals His righteousness.

זָכַר חַסְדֹּו וֶאֱמוּנָתֹו לְבֵית יִשְׂרָאֵל רָאוּ כָל־אַפְסֵי־אָרֶץ אֵת יְשׁוּעַת אֱלֹהֵינוּ׃   98:3

Psal. 98:3   He remembers His mercy and His faithfulness regarding the house of Israel;

                              all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

הָרִיעוּ לַיהוָה כָּל־הָאָרֶץ פִּצְחוּ וְרַנְּנוּ וְזַמֵּרוּ׃   98:4

Psal. 98:4   Shout to the Lord, all the earth!

                              Break forth and sing for joy and sing praises.

זַמְּרוּ לַיהוָה בְּכִנֹּור בְּכִנֹּור וְקֹול זִמְרָה׃   98:5

Psal. 98:5   Sing praises to the Lord with harp,

                              with harp and the sound of music,

בַּחֲצֹצְרֹות וְקֹול שֹׁופָר הָרִיעוּ לִפְנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ יְהוָה׃   98:6

Psal. 98:6   with trumpets and the sound of the horn.

                              Shout before the King, the Lord.

יִרְעַם הַיָּם וּמְלֹאֹו תֵּבֵל וְיֹשְׁבֵי בָהּ׃   98:7

Psal. 98:7   Let the sea thunder, and its contents,

                              the world, and the inhabitants of it.

נְהָרֹות יִמְחֲאוּ־כָף יַחַד הָרִים יְרַנֵּנוּ׃   98:8

Psal. 98:8   Let rivers clap hands,

                              let the mountains sing together for joy

לִפְנֵי־יְהוָה כִּי בָא לִשְׁפֹּט הָאָרֶץ יִשְׁפֹּט־תֵּבֵל בְּצֶדֶק וְעַמִּים בְּמֵישָׁרִים׃   98:9

Psal. 98:9   before the Lord,

                              for He comes to judge the earth.

                     He will judge the world with righteousness,

                              and the peoples with evenness.
