לַמְנַצֵּחַ עַל־נְגִינַת לְדָוִד׃   61:1

Psal. 61:1   For the Leader, with David's string music:

שִׁמְעָה אֱלֹהִים רִנָּתִי הַקְשִׁיבָה תְּפִלָּתִי׃   61:2

Psal. 61:2   O God, listen to my cry,

                                hear my prayer.

מִקְצֵה הָאָרֶץ אֵלֶיךָ אֶקְרָא בַּעֲטֹף לִבִּי בְּצוּר־יָרוּם מִמֶּנִּי תַנְחֵנִי׃   61:3

Psal. 61:3   Were I to call to You from the end of the earth

                                because of the weakness of my heart,

                      You would guide me to a rock far above me.

כִּי־הָיִיתָ מַחְסֶה לִי מִגְדַּל־עֹז מִפְּנֵי אוֹיֵב׃   61:4

Psal. 61:4   Surely You are a Refuge for me,

                                 a Tower of Strength before any enemy.

אָגוּרָה בְאָהָלְךָ עוֹלָמִים אֶחֱסֶה בְסֵתֶר כְּנָפֶיךָ סֶּלָה׃   61:5

Psal. 61:5   May I dwell in Your tent always;

                                may I find refuge in the shelter of Your “wings.”            Selah.

כִּי־אַתָּה אֱלֹהִים שָׁמַעְתָּ לִנְדָרָי נָתַתָּ יְרֻשַּׁת יִרְאֵי שְׁמֶךָ׃   61:6

Psal. 61:6   Surely You, God, listen to my vows;

                                You grant me the inheritance of those reverent of Your name.

יָמִים עַל־יְמֵי־מֶלֶךְ תּוֹסִיף שְׁנוֹתָיו כְּמוֹ־דֹר וָדֹר׃   61:7

Psal. 61:7   May You add days onto the days of the king;

                                may his years be as many generations.

יֵשֵׁב עוֹלָם לִפְנֵי אֱלֹהִים חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת מַן יִנְצְרֻהוּ׃   61:8

Psal. 61:8   May he sit always before God.

                                Appoint mercy and truth;

                       let them preserve him.

כֵּן אֲזַמְּרָה שִׁמְךָ לָעַד לְשַׁלְּמִי נְדָרַי יוֹם יוֹם׃   61:9

Psal. 61:9   Truly I will praise Your name with song forever,

                                for my completion of my vows every day.
