הַלְלוּ יָהּ הַלְלוּ עַבְדֵי יְהוָה הַלְלוּ אֶת־שֵׁם יְהוָה׃   113:1

Psal. 113:1   Hallelujah!

                               Praise, servants of the Lord!

                        Praise the name of the Lord.

יְהִי שֵׁם יְהוָה מְבֹרָךְ מֵעַתָּה וְעַד־עוֹלָם׃   113:2

Psal. 113:2   Let the name of the Lord be blessed

                                from now and until the end of time.

מִמִּזְרַח־שֶׁמֶשׁ עַד־מְבוֹאוֹ מְהֻלָּל שֵׁם יְהוָה׃   113:3

Psal. 113:3   From the rising of the sun until its going,

                                the name of the Lord should be praised.

רָם עַל־כָּל־גּוֹיִם יְהוָה עַל הַשָּׁמַיִם כְּבוֹדוֹ׃   113:4

Psal. 113:4   The Lord shall be exalted by all the nations;

                                His glory is above the heavens.

מִי כַּיהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ הַמַּגְבִּיהִי לָשָׁבֶת׃   113:5

Psal. 113:5   Who is like the Lord, our God, dwelling loftily,

הַמַּשְׁפִּילִי לִרְאוֹת בַּשָּׁמַיִם וּבָאָרֶץ׃   113:6

Psal. 113:6   looking below on heaven and on earth,

מְקִימִי מֵעָפָר דָּל מֵאַשְׁפֹּת יָרִים אֶבְיוֹן׃   113:7

Psal. 113:7   raising the poor from the dust?

                                He would raise the needy one from the dunghill,

לְהוֹשִׁיבִי עִם־נְדִיבִים עִם נְדִיבֵי עַמּוֹ׃   113:8

Psal. 113:8   making to dwell with the noble,

                                with the noble ones of his people,

מוֹשִׁיבִי עֲקֶרֶת הַבַּיִת אֵם־הַבָּנִים שְׂמֵחָה הַלְלוּ־יָהּ׃   113:9

Psal. 113:9   making the barren one to dwell at home,

                                 the mother of children.

                        Hallelujah!
