וְאָמַרְתָּ בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא אוֹדְךָ יְהוָה כִּי אָנַפְתָּ בִּי יָשֹׁב אַפְּךָ וּתְנַחֲמֵנִי׃ 12:1
Isai. 12:1 And you shall say on that day,
“I will thank You, O Lord.
Though You have been ‘angry’ with me,
Your ‘anger’ can be turned back,
And You comfort me.”
הִנֵּה אֵל יְשׁוּעָתִי אֶבְטַח וְלֹא אֶפְחָד כִּי־עָזִּי וְזִמְרָת יָהּ יְהוָה וַיְהִי־לִי לִישׁוּעָה׃ 12:2
Isai. 12:2 “Behold, God is my Salvation.
I will trust and not fear,
For my strength and a song of God is the Lord,
And He is my Deliverance.”
וּשְׁאַבְתֶּם־מַיִם בְּשָׂשׂוֹן מִמַּעַיְנֵי הַיְשׁוּעָה׃ 12:3
Isai. 12:3 So you shall draw water
From the wells of salvation with joy.
וַאֲמַרְתֶּם בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא הוֹדוּ לַיהוָה קִרְאוּ בִשְׁמוֹ הוֹדִיעוּ בָעַמִּים עֲלִילֹתָיו הַזְכִּירוּ כִּי נִשְׂגָּב שְׁמוֹ׃ 12:4
Isai. 12:4 And you shall say on that day,
“Give thanks to the Lord!
Call forth in His name!
Make His works known among the peoples!
Make it remembered that exalted is His name!”
זַמְּרוּ יְהוָה כִּי גֵאוּת עָשָׂה (מיּדַעַת) [מוּדַעַת] זֹאת בְּכָל־הָאָרֶץ׃ 12:5
Isai. 12:5 Sing of the Lord that He has done gloriously,
Making this known throughout the earth.
The word in parentheses is misspelled, with a yad in place of a vav. The correction is in the brackets.
צַהֲלִי וָרֹנִּי יוֹשֶׁבֶת צִיּוֹן כִּי־גָדוֹל בְּקִרְבֵּךְ קְדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ 12:6
Isai. 12:6 Shout and sing aloud, inhabitant of Zion,
That the Holy One of Israel is great in your midst.
