But he offended with Baal, and he died.”

and have made molten image for themselves
from their silver, after their own understanding idols;
the work of craftsman all of it is.
They are saying about them,
‘Sacrificers of humans must kiss calves.’”

Hose. 13:6 “After My pasturing them so they were satisfied,
they became fulfilled and their heart was uplifted;
as a result, they forgot Me.”

Hose. 13:8 “I will encounter them as a bear bereaved of cubs,
and tear the hard shell of their heart,
and I will devour them there like a lioness
-- a beast of the field, she shall tear them apart.”
שִׁחֶתְךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל כִּי־בִי בְעֶזְרֶךָ׃ 13:9

for being with Me is being with your Helper.”

with all your cities?
And your judges to whom you said,
‘Give me a king and princes’?”

his sin stored.”

he is a child, not wise,
but it is time he should not remain
in the breaking-out place of children.”

ransom them from death.
Where are your plagues, death?
Where is your destruction, underworld?
Sorrow shall be hidden from My ‘eyes.’”

the east wind of the Lord shall come,
arising from the wilderness,
and his source of fluid shall become shameful,
and his fountain barren;
he shall be plundered of the treasure
of all the implements of pleasure.”
