מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד יְהוָה רֹעִי לֹא אֶחְסָר׃   23:1

Psal. 23:1   A psalm of David's.

                     The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.

בִּנְאוֹת דֶּשֶׁא יַרְבִּיצֵנִי עַל־מֵי מְנֻחוֹת יְנַהֲלֵנִי׃   23:2

Psal. 23:2   He will have me lie down in green pastures;

                               beside still waters He will lead me.

נַפְשִׁי יְשׁוֹבֵב יַנְחֵנִי בְמַעְגְּלֵי־צֶדֶק לְמַעַן שְׁמוֹ׃   23:3

Psal. 23:3   He will restore my soul;

                               He will lead me in paths of righteousness for the sake of His name.

גַּם כִּי־אֵלֵךְ בְּגֵיא צַלְמָוֶת לֹא־אִירָא רָע כִּי־אַתָּה עִמָּדִי שִׁבְטְךָ וּמִשְׁעַנְתֶּךָ הֵמָּה יְנַחֲמֻנִי׃   23:4

Psal. 23:4   Though I may walk in the valley of the shadow of death,

                                I shall not fear evil,

                      for You are with me;

                                Your rod and Your staff, they shall comfort me.

תַּעֲרֹךְ לְפָנַי שֻׁלְחָן נֶגֶד צֹרְרָי דִּשַּׁנְתָּ בַשֶּׁמֶן רֹאשִׁי כּוֹסִי רְוָיָה׃   23:5

Psal. 23:5   You will prepare before me a table in the presence of my enemies;

                                You anoint my head with oil;

                      my cup runs over.

אַךְ טוֹב וָחֶסֶד יִרְדְּפוּנִי כָּל־יְמֵי חַיָּי וְשַׁבְתִּי בְּבֵית־יְהוָה לְאֹרֶךְ יָמִים׃   23:6

Psal. 23:6   Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,

                                and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord for the duration of time.
