שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת הַבֹּטְחִים בַּיהוָה כְּהַר־צִיּוֹן לֹא־יִמּוֹט לְעוֹלָם יֵשֵׁב׃   125:1

Psal. 125:1   A song of the ascendance:

                       Those trusting in the Lord are as Mount Zion;

                                it can not be moved, forever it remains.

יְרוּשָׁלִַם הָרִים סָבִיב לָהּ וַיהוָה סָבִיב לְעַמּוֹ מֵעַתָּה וְעַד־עוֹלָם׃   125:2

Psal. 125:2   Jerusalem, mountains are all around it;

                               so the Lord is all around for His people,

                         from now and until forever.

כִּי לֹא יָנוּחַ שֵׁבֶט הָרֶשַׁע עַל גּוֹרַל הַצַּדִּיקִים לְמַעַן לֹא־יִשְׁלְחוּ הַצַּדִּיקִים בְּעַוְלָתָה יְדֵיהֶם׃    125:3 

Psal. 125:3   For the rod of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous,

                               so that the righteous should not extend their hands toward injustice.

הֵיטִיבָה יְהוָה לַטּוֹבִים וְלִישָׁרִים בְּלִבּוֹתָם׃   125:4

Psal. 125:4   Be good, Lord, to the good

                               and to the upright in their hearts.

וְהַמַּטִּים עַקַלְקַלּוֹתָם יוֹלִיכֵם יְהוָה אֶת־פֹּעֲלֵי הָאָוֶן שָׁלוֹם עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃   125:5

Psal. 125:5   But those spreading out their devious ways,

                               let the Lord lead them away with the workers of iniquity.

                        Peace be on Israel.
