The nineteen verses of this chapter correspond to the first nineteen verses in 1Kings Chapter 12.

2Chr. 10:3   And they sent and called for him, and Jeroboam came, with all Israel, and they spoke to Rehoboam saying,

See my remarks pertaining to this verse at 1Kin.12:3.

2Chr. 10:6   Then the king, Rehoboam, consulted with the elders who had been standing before Solomon, his father, during his being alive saying, “What word would you be advising to give back to this people?”

2Chr. 10:10   And the young men who grew up with him spoke with him saying, “You should say thus to the people who spoke to you saying, ‘Your father made our yoke harsh, but you make lighter than it was upon us’ -- thus you must say to them: ‘My little finger is thicker than the loins of my father.’

2Chr. 10:11   ‘So now, my father loaded upon you a harsh yoke, but I will add to your yoke; my father chastised you with whips, but I, with scorpions.’”

2Chr. 10:13   And the king answered them severely; so the king, Rehoboam, ignored the advice of the elders,

2Chr. 10:14   and spoke to them according to the counsel of the boys saying, “He made your yoke harsh, but I will add to it; my father chastised you with whips, but I, with scorpions.”

2Chr. 10:16   And all Israel, when the king had not listened to them, then the people answered the king saying,

“What is our portion in David?

                          Each to your tent, Israel!

Now look after your own house, David.”

And all of Israel departed to its tents.

2Chr. 10:18   And the king, Rehoboam, sent Hadoram, who was over the levy, and the children of Israel threw stones at him, and he died.  And the king, Rehoboam, made speed to get up on a chariot to flee to Jerusalem.

In 1Kin. 12:18, the name of Hadoram is spelled as Adoram.  The heh is an aleph there.

2Chr. 10:19   And Israel has revolted toward the house of David to this day.

This verse is identical to a verse in 1Kings (a rare occurrence in the Hebrew bible).  See my remarks pertaining to both verses at 1Kin. 12:19.
